Brazil - Extra, Extra!
Brazil - Extra, Extra! BRAZILIAN POLICE FORCE LIES AND VIDEOTAPE Rio's protests after the Pope's first visit by Lucio Amorim Yesterday as the Pope arrived in Rio, thousands gathered to protest in front of the State Governors Palace, following the more-than-a-month-long rally of protests for better public services and especially against Rio de Janeiro's State Governor, Sergio Cabral. Protests are not because of the pope, actually many people that came for the pope's visit joined the protesters. Well, things got quite interesting after the pope left and people stayed on the streets. After all it's not every day that you have undercover cops starting the chaos by throwing Molotov cocktails from the middle of the crowd into their own riot police, and make it appear it was done by the protesters... All caught on tape. Here are a few videos by independent media: Video 1- Black Blocs exposes 5 undercover agents that were spotted and expelled by the protesters:http://youtu.be/oJ9e8pK-Bz8 (see photos, they are all wearing a black bracelet) Video 2- The launching of the Molotov Cocktail - funny thing is that this video was posted in vimeo by police itself accusing protestors for the attack - but they removed it from vimeo as soon as people started to question who was in it http://youtu.be/wSXkuh8FZWM(here from another angle: http://youtu.be/wux8Nkt6htA) Video 3- The same guys that were throwing Molotov cocktails above: http://youtu.be/0vEnToPyex8 Video 4- A combination of the two main videos:http://youtu.be/7kkgK9eY7Lo (P2 = undercover cop) Video 5- This video shows another protester being cowardly tased in the heart, after he as already unconscious, and the arrogant attitude of another undercover cop kicking a photographer who is begging him to stop: http://noticias.r7.com/rio-de-janeiro/protesto-no-palacio-guanabara-pm-e-flagrado-dando-choque-em-manifestante-caido-23072013 - this protester was arrested and charged of carrying a backpack of Molotov cocktails and being one of the responsible for starting it all. Yeah, right. What is even more frightening than all this, is that the Police has been specifically looking for Independent Media outlets, such as "Midia Ninja," most with no Journalism background, but who are reporting live feed from their own smartphones. These guys have been detained by the same undercover cops that were expelled shown in the first video above... for doing true journalism - I guess that might be a very bad charge when you are not in a true democracy, right? At the end of the night there were eleven protesters locked up, all were released with no charges within the same night by the sheriff. Well, if there was no crime being committed, why were they arrested in the first place? Meanwhile, @PMERJ (the Brazilian Military Policy Official Twitter Account) - yeah, you heard that right. Our police are a military one. A reminder of a dictatorship past not-so-long-ago - has been repeatedly violating the whole textbook of human rights and privacy on their site and social media accounts, uploading pictures of suspects, and people who were not charged of anything, but still detained... Police’s false statements included that they were not shooting people with live ammo, but they did shoot, that people were not detained under false allegations, but people were detained, and they accused OAB (the Order of Attorneys of Brazil) of "disturbing" and "not cooperating" with their work. It's not the first time see: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151622563149272 (you can try automated translation by going to the original thread) When I say undercover cop, these guys might also be from ABIN (our CIA) whose agents have already been exposed last week, after being arrested along with several others in Leblon: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151624125184272 (try translating it automatically) Also, earlier yesterday there was even the promulgation of very arbitrary law by Rio’s governor Cabral, which creates a special division to investigate riots, and takes civil rights away in order to "protect the people." Meanwhile the only thing being reported in the Brazilian mainstream news regarding the protests is “Another night of protest ended in chaos after protesters threw bombs at the police". And this, my friends, have been the last 24h of Rio de Janeiro. I just had to let this all out, I apologize upfront for any bad spelling wrong numbers, names and dates... I will update you if there is anything else I forgot. Now lets wait for tomorrow: there will be a gathering in honor to the 7th day Prayers for the burned mannequins from a clothing shop, last week. Obviously this is sarcastic: The media keeps focusing on the damned burned dummies, while Amarildo, a poor fishermen went missing after going to the police station in Rocinha. He was probably killed by cops. And the media says nothing about it.
