#2952 - Prothalotia lehmanni - Lehmann's Top Shell
A small Trochid found on Western and South Australian shorelines, where it grows to about 17mm in size. The living snail is found on rocks or amongst algae and seagrass, and has a pale shell, with wavy dark reddish brown axial bands of varying thicknesses.
The other species in the genus are endemic to Australia and Japan.
