Now for the cel I really wanted! Also part of the previous lot. Here’s #Sivil from #Macross7
It’s so hard to find any #cel of Sivil
Unfortunately the #genga is stuck to the back of the cel... But I’m still glad to have it! #AnimationCel #AnimeCel #Macross #Protodevlin
Still no new sketchbook so here’s a #tbt piece of #Sivil from #Macross7 I did almost two years old now. #Macross7Sivil #Macross #Protodeviln #drawing #sketch #anime
Gigil from Macross 7 kinda looks like a Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine with those electronics embedded in his face. IDK if I’ve seen any other late-80s/early-90s stuff with quite that look.

Silly Basara comics by NakamuraShinji on DevArt - there's a few more at the source link.
(Thanks to pterobat for the post that lead me to these.)
Awesome Mac 7 art
(This came from a friend's image horde and reverse-lookup doesn't come up with anything, so I don't have a source. If anyone knows it, let me know!)
More Kawamori designs, these leading up to the Fz-109 Elgerzorene used by the Protodeviln's Varauta Army. In series continuity, the Protodeviln adapted its technology from the UNS VF-14 Vampire (seen briefly in the Mac 7 extra episodes and the game Macross M3), which was in turn based on the old VF-4 Lightning.
