Some protoframe designs I made some time ago and I'm currently working on more, hehe <3 (feat @thatfluffyboi 's boi Sol with Chanho oops) Meet Chanho (He/him), Vale (She/they), Adélart (He/him) and Adèle (She/her). Last two are siblings hehehe! Invented names for all of them as well, Chanho's from Hangoku (South korea), Vale from Vitalia (Italy) and the siblings are from Fraterce (France) but are mixed Koreans

Drifter Ruadh

The sound of rushing water, the smell of salt, and the briefest glimpse of red-blond hair: the last things most of Ruadh's enemies sense before their lives are snuffed out.

An experienced strategist (and well aware of Entrati's mode of operation), Ruadh only took the Protoframe injection after many hours of study... and a few experiments of his own.

Orokin gold befits the pirate captain, does it not?

Ruadh is my brother's Proto!Drifter (and Ayhan/Aíbinn's older brother!).

He barely survived 'putting down' their parents, pushing himself beyond his limits upon hearing Aíbinn scream. He believes her to have been killed by an Angel ambushing her in the hallway back to the classrooms.

His name means 'red,' bc of 1) his hair color and 2) a very dumb inside joke between my brother and I. It also took a LOT of thought for him to choose a frame that wasn't Excalibur in the planning stages of this design XD

the main thing i learned from this design is that Orowyrms are a pain in the neck to draw /hj

Soooo I have a fic I'm working on that involves a Xaku Protoframe Drifter. It's them :D I love this character design so much y'all

Btw I drew this in flat colors for reference BUT the gray parts are metallic like their teeth. I liked the idea of having some Void Angel stuff going on :3

Also drew heavy inspo from anatomical diagrams to rework Xaku's incorporeality/skeletal vibes as. Y'know. Solid.

Their name means "king of the moon" btw!!

They very much did NOT know they were getting the Protoframe shot so that plays right into the "someone else's pawn" theme DE has underscored for the Drifter :)
