How exactly is Alex Mercer in Prototype 1 an “edgelord” or an “asshole”? I mean no offense, I’m genuinely curious. Could someone explain what exactly makes him an “edgelord” or an “asshole”? Alex has already suffered enough damage to his reputation because of the second game, and now people keep piling even more negative labels onto him. Not everyone treats derogatory words as affectionate nicknames. I genuinely do not understand why Alex, of all characters, has accumulated so many insulting “nicknames.”

Tagging a post centered on James Heller with #Prototype 2009 is also incredibly disrespectful to people who genuinely love the first game’s Alex Mercer. James Heller literally dismembered and consumed Alex alive. Not every Alex fan is comfortable seeing Heller content in the tag for the original game.

Nobody is stopping you from liking Heller or posting about him. So why can’t you use #Prototype 2012 for Heller-focused content? What exactly is the point of putting it in the #Prototype 2009 tag?
