Swapped out for the full RGB waterproof strip. I used 3M emblem tape to stick it to the underside of the rail system. After it rained all day it held just fine. I might eventually add a fuse to the accessory curcuit, but for now this setup doesn't modify the wiring or bed at all. Really lights up the bed too for loading/unloading without draining the truck's battery. I can recharge the USB power bank in the truck on long trips or I have a decent trifold solar panel for wilderness trips.
