Attempting to bring my LED wiring doc (created with mermaid.live) into Inkscape as an SVG. Not useful. But with a little massaging, I did end up with this rather artistic depiction.
3 mistakes that make addressable LED strips look “glitchy”
When addressable LEDs don’t behave, it’s usually not the animation—it’s the setup.
Mistake #1: Weak grounding If your ground isn’t solid end-to-end, your data signal becomes noise.
Mistake #2: Power injection too late Pixels can “work” but colors shift and white scenes fall apart near the tail.
Mistake #3: Long data line with no signal conditioning A small resistor or level shifting can turn “random flicker” into stability.
