She woke to the heavy weight of an arm draped over her, the one it attached to breathing lightly on her neck as the first rays of sunlight started to creep through the curtains. Morning. Another morning waking up as such. Bella rolled, lifting a hand to rub at her eyes before sitting up and dragging the sheet with her. Bella isn't old fashioned enough to pretend sex doesn't exist before marriage but sex with someone while set to be married to another is a line she hadn't thought she would cross. And sleeping with the brother of said intended was far beyond that.
But she'd been good her whole life and Rabastan was a pureblood, one wholly dedicated to, for the most part, the ideals that she herself held dear. Perhaps that should make things right in their own twisted way. But it didn't and it meant she was betraying her family.
She ran a finger down his chest, sighing heavily, before getting up in search of clothes that had been thrown aside the night before. "You need to get up, Rabastan." Her tone was clear, as it always was, words calculated to neither cause anger or create mischievousness. His head lifted and she had to resist the urge to smile. "Someone will be wondering where you are and I've got to check in on my sisters today, so really it's an..."
Before she could finish her sentence an arm was wrapped around her waist, pulling her close again. "It's about six in the morning, Bella. They can wait." The hand that was creeping back up her shirt let her know where he wanted to steer the conversation back to.
"We can't just -"
"We can. We already did."
"My sisters..." He just sighed, either not willing to create an argument or a conversation at all and he pulled her down to the bed. She settled easily, pressing a kiss to his lips with just a hint of a grin. "Well... one more hour won't hurt anyone."
