The things I would tell my 13-year-old self
Don’t be so dramatic. You’re a lone wolf that’s fine! Jam out to your music and be yourself because people think you’re pretty rad. Have faith in humanity. Have faith in yourself. You’re damn smart and don’t let anyone tell you different. That thing the girl did to you doesn’t matter. There will be other guys to come and guess what? He comes back. Be honest and don’t be afraid to speak your opinion and say what is on your mind. You’re sassy and just embrace that! Ignore the haters. I know it’s hard, but what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. Embrace your weirdness because people will like your quirkiness and selflessness. You don’t need any confirmation from anyone else, but yourself. Love your self and love life because it’s a short one. It’s a dark time for you, but you’ll get through this.
