Elliot smiled as his cat rubbed against him, hopping up into his lap and laying down. He pet them as they watched TV, waiting for his boyfriend. One of his favorite shows had a new episode soon, and he’d offered to watch with him. He was nervous, not wanting him to miss the beginning of it, but there was still time, so he looked down at his cat instead and pet it, letting it sooth him as he listened for signs he was headed back from the kitchen. Truth be told, Elliot liked the show too, but he mostly liked watching how excited and happy his boyfriend got watching it.
