with how much overanalyzing the Les Mis fandom does, I’m a little surprised there aren’t more Lesgles + Prouvaire shippers. I mean guys, after Prouvaire is killed, we literally have a paragraph that’s like “everyone sat below the barricade, except for Lesgles, who sat on top of the barricade and spoke sadly about poetry”. And THEN the love poem that Prouvaire wrote that the ABC recites has the line “lawyer without a case”. An unlucky lawyer, maybe? Maybe?? Sounds like someone I know…
