Who holds the umbrella when it rains: Both have troubles remembering to bring an umbrella with them, but when they do have one it’s Combeferre who holds it (because it’s his and because Jehan is always carrying stuff in his hands, whether it’s his wallet or his phone or anything he forgot to put into his backpack, really)Who is the grumpiest in the morning: Combeferre. Jehan likes to wake up early, make tea, listen to some quiet songs by Led Zeppelin before getting ready for the day, while Combeferre, being grumpy in the morning, will stay in bed for as long as he can to avoid being too grumpy. He’s ok after breakfast, though.Who worries more when the other is sick/hurt: Jehan. Combeferre, being a more rational person than his boyfriend, would call the doctor/make a soup/be gentle and optimistic. Jehan is more emotional and would be so worried and feel like he doesn’t know what to do to make Combeferre feel better.Who plays pranks on the other: Uhm, neither of them.Who is always the first to suggest cuddling on the sofa: Combeferre, the cuddle monster. Jehan is more active and likes to do stuff around the house, like a craft project or try a weird recipe, so is Combeferre who has to drag him into his arms to cuddle (even though he always wait for Jehan to finish whatever he’s doing).Who insists on creating nicknames for the other: Jehan! He and Grantaire share a passion for mythological nicknames.Who drools on the other when they’re asleep: Combeferre drools sometimes, being a very heavy sleeper, but usually he sleeps on his belly and Jehan in a fetal position, so it really never happened.Who says “I love you” first: Combeferre did. He said it after a date at the theatre, Jehan was very happy and very emotional and then they were making out in an alley.
