- Proverbs 30:17 NIV
"The Bible says that the eyes are the window to the soul; so many photos from the eyes of peoples soul, but photos are a reflection also of the soul, beheld and chosen by ones eye."
Natasha Ferguson
The eye that mocks a father and scorns to obey a mother will be picked out by the ravens of the valley and eaten by the vultures. Proverbs 30:17
The behavior displayed in this video is abhorrent. The sheer audacity of these children. What strikes me the most is:
1. The setting. A school bus:
For it links this behavior with the Bastille of evolutionary thought; public education. Behave as you are taught. You descend from monkeys so behave like monkeys'
and
2. The lack of moral moorings:
The natural outworking of naturalistic humanism. Their is no God, so there is no moral moorings. Do as thou wilt. You descend from monkeys so behave like monkeys.
Language Warning: "Greece students on bus 784 mocking their bus monitor to the point of tears. The comment that hurt the most was when the kids said “you’re so ugly your kid should kill themselves.” Her son took his life 10 years ago."
Socrates was most observant and the nature of man has not changed:
Our youth now loves luxuries. They have bad manners, contempt for authority. They show disrespect for elders and they love to chatter instead of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants, of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up their food, and tyrannize their teachers.
The Bible has declared that in the last days,
"People will be lovers of themselves.....abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy (2 Timothy 3:2)
And this is another perfect example of why humanity needs Christ:
For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:3-7)
