Now, in response to Trump's outlandish rhetoric, many people will say, he's just good at trolling people, and his rhetoric shouldn't be taken seriously. [...] But while it might be okay for an awkward teen to have an internet edgelord phase, that's not okay for the guy who has access to the nuclear codes. That doesn't justify things like his threat on April 7th that "A whole civilization will die tonight in Iran," and spending Easter morning posting how he will bomb civilian infrastructure. Following through on these threats would make you a war criminal. [...] If Trump's threats about wiping out civilizations were real, then soldiers would have a moral duty to disobey his orders. And if the threats were just "truthful hyperbole," as Trump might say, and not meant to be taken literally—then they're still evil, because, as the Scripture says, only a madman would make such heinous threats and then say, "I am only joking" [cf. Proverbs 26:18-19].

What is the meaning of Proverbs 10:17?
today’s verse ✨
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower: The righteous runneth into it, and is safe.”
Proverbs 18:10 KJV
Like the cold of snow in the time of harvest is a faithful messenger to those who send him; he refreshes the soul of his masters. - Proverbs 25:13
Some wisdom from my reading of Proverbs (pt.3):
-Don’t boast about what hasn’t happened yet
-Don’t praise yourself, lest you become entitled
-If you wander away from the Lord, you wander away from your eternal home, and your eternal love
-Possessions are temporary, but the favor of the Lord is forever for those who walk in it
-The Lord strengthens those that are right with him
-You can’t hide anything from God, it’s best to just repent and remain in his favor
-God will not let you starve
-Serving the Lord is its own reward
-Those who provide for the poor (for the Lord) will be repaid, but those who don’t will be utterly destroyed
-God is totally trustworthy, for he is the truth, and everything he says is truth
-Desire neither to be rich or poor. Only desire for your needs to be met in Christ Jesus
God bless, Jesus loves you ✝️❤️
