I know how it feels to be completely wrecked, broken, overwhelmed. The inability to remedy yourself of these feelings. But by diving more into the Word and being encouraged by my fellow brothers and sisters, I am reminded of my salvation in Christ Jesus. My refuge, my strength, my comfort, my peace, my sovereign God. I am reminded of His faithfulness in my past, present, and future. Of the blessings already bestowed to me and those to come. So how could I not be happy? It's those moments when I realize the greatest joy in following Christ, the motivation behind why I live the life that I live, the reason why I am still running this race. And that, my friend, is the cure to any debbiedowner slump that we might find ourselves in.
