NEWS STORY.  Well here it is!  For those of you that have wanted to know what I am REALLY up to, here is the scoop.  Yes, this is MY LIFE STORY.  What I know is that I am blessed beyond anything you can ever imagine.  I am living out my dreams within the PROMISED LAND that God has asked me to walk in freely.  He conquered it for me and now it is my BLUEPRINT to walk it out in FAITH.  Thank you Tampa Bay Medical News for such an incredible write up.

Yes to PREDESTINATION.  Has God chosen us.  It is clear in scripture that He has a plan for us and throughout different versions of this scripture, the word predestined is used frequently.  His Glory allows His light to shine in our life.

Ecclesiastes 3:5-8. A time to throw away stones and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing. A time to search and a time

If this is a rough season in your life, I have good news.  It can only mean that the next season is looking up already.  God is our protector and His promises of provision for His children is clear. Trust and patience yields results.

Philippians 2:3-4. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own

Sometimes blind ambition can get the better of us.  Let us be careful of the enemy playing with our minds.  Let us trust and love one another and understand the uniqueness and strengths of others around us and in that way we will care for their interests as well.

Proverbs 16:9. A man’s mind plans his way , But the Lord directs his steps and establishes them.

Just today, I spent quite sometime planning, thinking, and planning some more.  Then I had to laugh because God must be laughing just looking at me.  I am a planner and that can be good.  However inflexibility is not.  We have to be careful to plan so much that we plan right out of God's will for our life

Psalm 27:14. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Everything is about God's timing.  We need to realize that we will often have to wait patiently for Him to show us His plans for us.  He wants us to grow in trust of Him, which happens at those times when we must rely on Him completely to come through for us.  Life is not served on the diamond platter.  It is revealed with our purpose gradually and clearly so that we do not miss what He has in store for us.

Matthew 5:39. But I say to you, do not resist an evil person ; but whoever slaps you on the right cheek, turn the other toward him also .

WE are called to grace even when we believe that people do not deserve it.  Turn the other cheek is what God says.  Forgiveness and mercy is what God calls out.  Sometimes easier said than done.  Take it one step at a time.  Pray first for a heart of forgiveness, and then maintain your poise even as situations may get difficult around you.

1 Corinthians 13:7. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Without love, we are simply words without any hope, meaning, or substance.  Even the simple things in life must be treated with kindness, thankfulness, and grace.

Isaiah 55:9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Sometimes we rely so much on our knowledge and we forget to trust God.   As a matter of fact we may go to make decisions about marriages, careers, major life decisions without even asking God.  We may even go to the point of just doing what we want instead of holding off and waiting.  Just because something looks good on the outside, does not always mean it is right for us or even at this time in our life.  Ask God's guidance, He will never refuse it.

1 Corinthians 6:12. Everything is permissible for me, but not all things are beneficial. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not be enslaved by

Let us take a step back and allow God to be our leader.  Technology often steals our business, attention, and even money away from God.  Yes we need technology.  However, we do not need to be run by technology.   Know your limitations and remember spending an hour with your tech toy, could be turned into 1 hour of serious attention to yourself and God ultimately serving you well and allowing you to make the right decisions.

Romans 8:1. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

Yeh, I'm free of the burden of guilt and condemnation.  How many of you feel guilty that you are not good enough, that you are a bad person, spouse, parent, etc?  How many of you believe that God does not love you or He doesn't accept you because of not being good enough?  Well here is proof that God does not look at us that way.  As a matter of fact He calls us royalty.  That doesn't give you free reign to sin.  However what it does tell you is that God's acceptance of you is not built around how good you are, but rather on your acceptance of Christ in your life alone and the fact that He died on the cross to forgive and forget your sins.

Ecclesiastes 7:8. It is better to finish something than to start it. It is better to be patient than to be proud.

Patience, such a precious commodity.  Yet very difficult to do at times. How can we look at our lives and implement measures of patience?  Could you hold your breath and count silently before you speak.  Could you walk away.  Could you wait 1 day or 2 before answering an email while thinking or praying about what you should say.  At the end patience pays off and is a great virtue.

Song Of Solomon 4:7. You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.

You are created BEAUTIFUL.  His image should emanate from your essence.  Know that and WALK in His favor!

Luke 12:33-34. Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does

There is nothing better than realizing that your stored up treasures are not what you can count at the bank.  It is what is promised to you in heaven.  God can provide for your vision above and beyond.
