Logic was yelling at Starscream that he should be in hiding and not seeking out the enemy, but he never was one for listening to logic. Besides what would he do then? Starve? He’s not going back to Megatron this time, that’s for sure.
At the same time, were the twins the best ones to surrender to? Would they let him get close enough without shooting at him? It had been three days and these were the only mechs he had encountered so far, it wasn’t like he had any better options waiting around to be chosen. Maybe he should take the chance, shoot them, and take any energon they have? But what if they don’t have any? And the Autobots certainly wouldn’t take him in then, no matter what his predicament is.
Starscream put himself in their path, still armed but his weapons powered down, and standing near cover, just in case. Not threatening, but he isn’t stupid either, they try to attack and he will defend his... cargo.
Once the grounders nears what is the standard grounder sight range, he raised his arms. Shouting, “I surrender.”
