Service: Noppin (Formerly known as Crescent Shop)
General Information: A proxy service located in Fukuoka, Japan. What makes Noppin one of my preferable shoppers to use is their real time bidding system – you can enter automated bids after searching your items directly from their YAJ search bar. (For those who are unfamiliar with the terminology, this basically means that instead of sending an email or form with your order to the service and waiting for a bid to be placed, you can enter your bid amount and have the bid placed directly from the site with no wait time – given that the server is up, which it typically is).
Noppin allows storage of items for 60 days after acceptance at their warehouse, so you can easily combine international shipping. Their fees are cheaper than most (starting at 500 yen), and they are available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Japan time, from Monday to Friday (excluding Japanese holidays). The staff are helpful and answer questions promptly.
Shipping: EMS, Airmail (international parcel and small packet), SAL (international parcel and small packet)
Usage Fees: Starts at 500 yen for items up to 4000 yen. Check their rate table for further information:

This does not include the typical proxy prices for domestic shipping (from original seller to shopper), bank fee (typical transfer method in Japan for YAJ transactions), and the surcharges for any shipping method that is NOT EMS.
My Experience: I had an excellent experience with Noppin – their real time bidding system never failed me, so I was able to bid on the items that I wanted up until the last few minutes. The staff were quick to reply to my questions – within 24 hours – and were willing to provide a quote with the price for my package, inclusive of all international shipping methods, so I could determine which one to use. The package was packed well – a layer of plastic and bubble tape within a cardboard box, which arrived undamaged via EMS. Their fees are also relatively low compared to many sites that I’ve seen – as a personal example, I’ll simply give one of my price quotes from them to illustrate. This was an order for a set of 5 16cm cotton candy Arpakasso:
Won Amount:2,800 JPY x 1 : 2,800 JPY
Domestic Shipping : 390 JPY
Bank Wire : 250 JPY
Other Cost : 0 JPY
Service Fee : 500 JPY
-------------------------------------------------------
Item Total : 3,940 JPY (48.60 USD)
My international shipping was 2200 yen (27.14 USD) total, for 11 items! The shipment consisted of 4 15cm plush, 5 16cm plush, one phone case, and one small keychain. If you do not ship via EMS like I did, there is a 100 yen per 1kg surcharge for the other shipping methods.
Note that they give you a little window that shows your items that are in storage at their warehouse (marked 'arrived' if they are at the warehouse, not marked if they are in transit from the seller), and you must send a packing request in order for them to pack and ship your items. Packing and processing takes up to 2 days, and they only work on orders on business days - so the only problem is that you can't have them send out your items early in the week. Luckily, if you're trying to catch the mailman, things should arrive by the weekend if you send a request early in the week.
Additional Information: Noppin requires a deposit in order to bid on auctions, which is a minimum of 2000 yen. The max bid amount is 3x your deposit, so if you use the minimum, you have a total bid power of 6000 yen. When you bid on an item and win, your deposit is not reset until you pay for your items, however.
You can also set up your PayPal account to automatically accept transactions from them, which you initiate through the payment pages (so they won't charge you for anything you don't want).
Make sure to pay for your won items on time - sometimes it's a bit hard to see, as you have to go to your portal and click on the 'auctions list.' Check the pay box and you can see the total price and pay for the item there. You have 7 days after you are quoted to pay for the items, after which they auto-charge your PayPal. If that doesn't work, you get a fee. :c
