This is awesome, I’m totally on board with the Nephilim thing, and also I love you just because.
YES. Like, Nephilim is so not the right word, AT ALL. But it's the closest word I can find. Because I don't think Cain would be an angel, mostly because so far we've never seen a case of a human being able to be turned into an angel, BUT we did see with Sam and Gadreel that Gadreel left trace grace inside of Sam. So what if Lucifer left like, trace grace too, but more of it.
Or fed it to him. Like the tainted angel grace version of Sam's demon blood.
I was talking to elliedew at one point and zir theory on how demons were first created is along those lines actually, if I'm remembering right, that they're actual Nephilim created by tainted grace.
