Common advice would say that happiness is the best revenge when someone lets you down.
And I agree…. kinda. I agree… minus the "revenge" part. You shouldn’t see your own happiness as revenge. It defeats the point of being happy because you wouldn't be doing it for yourself. You should be happy for YOU.
I don’t know what’s happened to you in your life - family, friends, work, significant others. But I do know that seeing your happiness as revenge is NOT the way to go about living your life. Don't live in reaction to someone who hurt you.
