What if the reason so many of Melinda Warren’s descendants were drawn to evil (like Pamela & Qalmor, P. Russel & Anton, and Grams & Armand the Necromancer) was because Matthew Tate the Warlock was Prudence Warren’s father?

fun fact i think that’s exactly who prudence’s father is!! which is why i gave her blinking as a power in this set i made. but yeah i think like melinda was married like to someone else and matthew was a love affair and then he betrayed her blah blah blah But. he never knew her daughter was his. i think he always that that prudence you know just wasn’t a bastard child. but i think it’s very interesting that like. that like that could be a reason why the warren line was so prone to trysts on the dark side a like calling to like situation with prudence being a halfling split warlock/witch. i personally think like the line would be too diluted to really have any impact so much further down, but it is an interesting thought!
