This young specimen of Prunus × incam 'Okamé' (flowering cherry) is certainly proving that the blossom, as stated in the reference texts, “is borne in profusion”. This is a rounded-headed, small deciduous tree which favours a sunny position. It also produces orange and red leaves in autumn.
