Runiel! On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the worst, how would you rate Prophet as a dad? You like them a lot, right? What's something you like best about them? Something you don't?

* { mm. i’d say..... 9. }

* { they’ve been nothing but good to me. even.... when i’ve had my bad moments, they don’t berate me. they try to help as best they can, and it’s incredibly admirable. }

* { the only thing that ever really bothers me is how hard a time they have with like... standing up for themselves, you know? but i know that’s just how they are and i don’t fault them for that. i just worry that they’ll get hurt over it again. }

[ERROR. ERROR. ERROR.] Something is WRONG with the monitor that usually displays those critical notifications. More and more error messages are popping up, and more alarmingly-- a surge of POWER rushes through it. The screen starts to FLICKER, streaks of black pixels dancing across the surface as hardware starts to overheat inside. Something is CRACKING. But then, just as it seems like the machine was about to break... It stops. A single message remains, ominous as the preceding events. "SOON."

* [He feels pretty lucky that he was by his computers when this happened. He’d get the pop up on one of his screens, sure, but.... Someone else could see that.]

* [He’s quiet as he watches his computer screen strain, frowning. Frowning more at the message displayed. Runi pipes up with worry, in his mind - their connection ever-present - and he does his best to reassure them.]

* [For now, he turns the main monitors off. Brings up one of his translucent screens to double down on the locks, and to allow Runi easier access to the lock system. It’s been 6 whole months since their episode - he trusts them with more access now. ]

* [Overall, though - while he’s a little shaken, seeing how easily affected his system is - he’s resolved. We’ve faced so much here, made it through so much. The void hasn’t ever been an easy place to live in, and damn it all, he’s not backing down now.]

* [Push comes to shove, he can evacuate the house to somewhere else - but he’s not leaving without a fight. Not leaving this home, and not leaving his timeline to be unguarded.]

* [This little event is going to go.... Unmentioned to the rest of the house, though. Barring Runiel and his fiancé, Prophet, of course. Hard to hide things when you have a mental connection.]
