Martin’s eyes boggled at Kitty. He sat up in his bed and groaned, the purple pajamas rustling between the sheets. “For crying out loud, Kitty!” he snapped. “Do you think antagonizing Logan is even a good idea?” He threw the covers off himself and sat on the side of the bed.

"See this is why you should listen to me in all matters." Rachel said around a mouthful of Chinese food. It had been an argument over which of their favorite places had the better chicken. She had won. "I am always right."

The gravitation force is three times less in the area around me and nearly nonexistent right here, but can I offer you a drink?” he asked before swinging down and offering her the other soda he had stolen from the cafeteria. Honestly, he just didn’t feel like standing and floating was so much more fun than sitting.

Martin ran through the hallways to catch up with her. He knew that she was fast. And you never knew where a mutant that could phase through solid matter would be at a given time. At last he could see the back of her head and reached out to pat her shoulder.

“Kitty!” he beamed, his cheeks flushed from running. “Still up for studying tonight?”
