A new beginning (an open invitation for writing!)
Anthea was frolicking around the garden, which was her new found ‘hiding place’ where she would run off to in order to escape the reality of her situation, watering the flowers with a pale pink watering can that she had found at a local store and had begged Magneto to let her buy it along with a matching set of gardening tools and gardening gloves so that she could take care of the garden herself. Dirt was smudged on her knees and across the sides of her dress from where she had been wiping her hands off and her new gloves were no longer a clean pink color from all of the weeding and planting she had been doing throughout the day. She used the back of her wrist to wipe some sweat off of her brow beneath the straw hat she was wearing and she sighed happily when the last of the flowers and newly added herbs, vegetables, and fruits had been watered properly. Anthea plopped her tools into her woven basket, peeled the gardening gloves off of her tired hands and threw them in with the tools, bending lightly to pick it up in her other hand as she walked back towards the dorms where she planned to wash her things off thoroughly.
However, she stopped abruptly when she noticed a rather large figure near the base and Anthea stopped in her tracks, tilting her head with an expression that blatantly revealed that she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. “Holy shit,” the redhead whispered, shortening the distance between herself and what she could only describe as a human with giant spider-legs. When she was within only a few feet, Anthea looked up and shouted a gleeful greeting, her messy braid falling over her shoulder to roll down her back as her head tipped so far back that the base of her skull pressed almost uncomfortably against the nape of her neck.
“Hallo! Whatcha doin’ way up there?” Anthea grinned, her bare toes grasping at the soft grass beneath her feet.
The voice snapped Patch out of her thoughts, pink hair messily falling into her face as she carefully turned herself. Arachnid legs clicked against the pavement as they changed position, lowering the woman to the ground as black eyes took in the other's dirt smudged and slightly disheveled appearance. "H-Hi." The words were soft, friendly and hesitant at the same time as she smiled wide. "I w-was just looking around, trying to remember my way around..." It hit her like a flash, and Patch nearly slapped herself for being so impolite, sticking a hand out to the red headed woman, not caring at all if she got dirt on herself or not. "S-Sorry. My name is Patch. It's wonderful to meet you." A pale hand was extended, long and spindly fingers reaching forwards as a bright grin broke across her face. This really was going to be an amazing start to her.. new life.
A new beginning (an open invitation for writing!)
It all seemed.. Odd. Foreign almost to the young woman who stood in the cluttered room she had once called her own. Magneto had brought her back here after their talk, and yet it was the last place Patch wanted to be. The room was dusty, unused, clothes still scattered around on the floor where she had left them. Yet soon enough a hesitant feeling tugged at her mind, and Patch found herself quickly opening the window and tiding up the small room. Soon enough the dust was gone, clothing organized as she stood in the middle of the small room, feeling lost and out of place as the light filtered through the window. It caught the black orbs of her eyes, and she slowly stepped forwards, fingertips trailing along the wall as she glanced outside. How many people would remember her? She barely remembered the base, let alone what it had been like to be here. Yet before Patch realized it, she stepped out of her room, closing the door behind her and nearly dashing for the outside door. She skidded to a halt, holding her arm over her eyes to block the sun that surprised her. A deep breath filtered through her lungs before the woman pulled off her jacket, holding it in her arms as the dark exo-skeletal legs unfurled from her back. Her toes skidded the ground before Patch curled her knees to her chest, taking in the grounds and the buildings around her. It was time for a new start.

@Patch
He wasn’t sure what to think of it, she had fallen asleep or out of consciousness for the past few months? That was rather strange but yet it was unheard of, the government may have found a strange mutant such as her and possibly experimented on her, honestly it wasn’t out of the question. In fact, he was certain it was most likely the government’s doing if not some other human supremacist organization.
He just wasn’t sure what group would have the audacity to take one of his members, if he hadn’t been overwhelmed the past few months he would have sent member or personally gone himself to search for Patch.
“Strange,” the word rolled off his lips as his mind wandered. He wanted to pry more into her but she could be sick for having been outside for so long. The water boiled and he made the tea, bringing it in a pot and pouring her a cup of it. “I hope you don’t mind, if I have someone examine you?”
The silence that filled the room ebbed into her mind as the woman carefully plucked a stray twig from her hair and tucked it into her pocket. When the singular word escaped him, black eyes looked up and Patch straightened. The question troubled her for a moment, but after a moment to remind herself that not everyone wanted to stomp her onto the ground like a bug, she gave a nod. "O-of courth not s-sir. Whatever's for the b-best."
OOC:I REALLY NEED TO KEEP KICKING MY BUTT TO GET ON HERE I'M SORRY UGH
@Patch
His head turned towards her voice, looking at her. It was obviously too cold for her and no thanks to their ever so mountainous location and close proximity to the bay, it wasn’t much help either. His eyes were staring at her concerned and sincerely, he extended his hand to her, “let us get you inside before we talk about any shocking news.”
With his arm still extended he used his abilities to draw her towards him and to quickly get her inside, sitting next to a fireplace, wrapped up in blankets. He prepared a tea, to help her warm up and as he was waiting for the water to boil, he came to her in the living room, “to answer your question, it is December 21st. Do you remember what happened last, Patch?”
The woman had to admit, being inside a warmed building felt oddly amazing, hands instantly having taken to rubbing at her arms. "December..." The word was soft, almost unbelieving as she let her eyes close, trying hard to concentrate and remember what exactly had happened. It was fuzzy, almost everything was. When Patch finally spoke, it was odd and slightly timid. "I remember going into the forest to try and concentrate on training a bit more, and the next thing I realized, I was awake in a tree, only a few days ago.."
