hey you guys know it’s ok to like or dislike the s2 ending without trying to make it seem as if anyone who has the other opinion is objectively wrong, right?

I’ve seen people saying the end is out of character and therefore we must dislike it, and others saying that the end makes narrative sense and therefore we must like it. this makes it really difficult for people to just agree to have differing opinions because everyone feels like they’re being attacked by people who disagree with them.

it’s ok to have opinions on a piece of media you care about without trying to universalize those opinions, even if you feel that your opinions are more fact based or formed using more media literacy.

I haven't been as talkative lately like for a while and I dunno if anyone really noticed but basically I find out this week if I get to keep my job (company restructuring).

As soon as I know I think I'll feel better. I've been waiting since the 14th of May to find out and I've been stressed all this time

one thing to keep in mind about the tag system here is that it refuses to display the exact same tag twice. which is okay if it's just about tag searches, but it's inconvenient when those "tag your opinions on x" posts roll around

a lot of the time it looks like "tag your opinion on A, B, C, D, and E #good #bad #great"

all we know for certain now is that you like A, and don't like something in the middle

so make sure that every tag you want to show up under a post is unique in some way

maybe something like "tag your opinion on A, B, C, D, and E #good #bad #good! #great #E is great too"

you know how in discord when you try to put two asterisks around a phrase, as you do in roleplaying, it swallows those asterisks and italicizes the words instead?

you can stop discord from doing that by putting a backslash immediately before the asterisk

so it’s like *hugs* → hugs \*hugs* → *hugs*
