Decisions decisions decisions
I loathe making decisions cos i have such a fickle mind. For now, i couldn’t decide if I should apply for
a) Diploma in HR through a private institution
(Kaplan or PSB Academy)
Pros: - Kaplan’s course duration is ONLY 8
months!
Cons: - PSB’s course duration is 12 months.
Meaning it might affect my wedding and
honeymoon.
- Both schools doesn’t offer subsidy for this course and i can’t
afford to pay $1K+ monthly which means i must take up a loan from a bank or TCC
All this headache about money reminds me that every Singapore citizen has PSEA (Post- Secondary Account.
So i called in to find out the balance of my PSEA.
I have $4k in my account. Wow! If only i could use it to pay for my dip. But sadly, it can only be used for government schools. Like ITE or Poly.
But like sayang like nvr used. So i decided to explore my options to take night classes at ITE.
Again, i called ITE to enquire. The higher nitec in HR has 5 modules. Each modules takes 6 months to complete. If you do your maths, you will know that it will take me freaking THREE YEARS to complete that course.
Might as well i take the diploma from Kaplan right. 8 months only.
And i also found out from a friend that if you don’t use your PSEA, they will credit it into your CPF account. So I’m not gonna lie, i felt kinda relief after hearing that.
Wahhh heart pain siaaa if government burn that 4k. Call me a cheapo for all i care, I’m not rich.
