I watch a lot of shows from a lot of different places. I know I mostly talk about British ones on here (and occasionally anime), but I also watch a ton of Canadian stuff—and honestly? If you’re looking for good non-US North American content, there’s some real gems.

Some of my Canadian favorites:

Psi Cops – surreal, deadpan, chaotic. If you like X-Files but wish it had the energy of a public access fever dream

The Red Green Show – a deeply Canadian DIY comedy that’s basically duct tape jokes and unhinged uncle energy.

Schitt’s Creek – you’ve probably heard of it, and yes, it is that good.

Trailer Park Boys – still unmatched in how absurd and weirdly sweet it is.

Total Drama – you’ve probably seen it or heard of it, but not a lot of people realize it’s Canadian. It’s a parody of American reality shows, by Canadians, and that somehow makes it funnier.

Letterkenny – fast-talking, rural chaos. It has its own rhythm, and once you click into it, it’s addictive.
