why is cinema etiquette just...dead now?? i watched the new Michael movie today and oh my gosh it was amazing. like literally teared up cause Jaafar jackson played him so unbelievably well it felt like it was really him on the screen. the only issue was that there were so many kids there that had clearly only gone because it's trending. like, there's nothing wrong with that in itself because yeah, if a movie looks good and is popular, you're gonna see it, and i think it's amazing for so many younger kids to know pop icons like michael jackson, and to learn about him and all. it only becomes an issue when they take one picture to post and then talk obnoxiously loud and literally run around for the rest of the movie TT if it's boring then leave?? i don't understand why they'd pay for a movie they don't like - let alone disturb everyone else and act surprised when people are shushing them...this wasn't just one or two either, it was the majority of the room i was in it was unbearable. i miss when people would go to the movies to actually watch movies and talk quietly.

honestly i think it's a problem with young people not having a lot of space to hang out too. i mean, there's obviously an issue with the behaviour of the younger generation where i live, including my people my own age which is crazy, especially in the country i live in right now, but having nowhere fun is just leaving bored kids to choose any place to hang out for a while, like a cinema, even when they're not interested because where else is there?? the park? the mall? it's the same three spots, and it pushes kids that actually like going to the cinema away. social media is honestly also a little at fault but i'm not gonna go into that TT

just a silly rant i guess but i wonder if it's just my area or other people notice the same thing :p i've been ranting a lot i think it's honestly exams making me a hater but also whadahel

also just a little side update - i swear to johnny joestar that i will be uploading again soon. you know it's serious because i'm swearing on my bootylicious king.

haven't been spending much time on tumblr as u know, but i've come across some typa gossip accounts for writers on here and wtf?? idk if it's just me but i find it kinda...eugh. on one hand i get some people calling weird behaviours out but shitting on people's writing because you don't like it and sending hate trains + harassing people, especially for rumours, is so weird TT

this is why i could never cope with being a bigger blog cause imagine waking up to a million hate anons/comments because someone anonymous decided to create rumours abt u or shit on u cause they didn't like your, idk, toji x reader x diego 10 page smut fanfic like hello

ik nobody is prolly gonna see all this or care cause again, i'm not a big blog and this is just a rant, but i feel like a lot of fandoms, especially the bigger ones and those who write for them, have become so toxic and hostile towards writers it's really sad. never once have i felt so bored i feel like i have to hate on someone. recently, for example, i realised i was following a blog that started to reblog some...questionable things that don't align with my morals - so i blocked them and moved on. that was literally all it took. people being so obsessed with sending hate is ruining so many fandoms, especially the jjk fandom, which used to be one of my favs, and still is a fun space with the right people - but is now riddled with toxicity. it's to the point i catch myself feeling like i can't write certain things even tho i know it's nothing crazy or dark.

idk why people love being messy so badly over 2d fictional characters omfg. puhlease go outside and you will realise your boredom can easily be cured by picking up a new hobby or going for a walk.
