Days of Auld Lane Syne
So my brother has been in Kalamazoo for a couple of weeks and wasn't here for new years. So when my sister and I went out and got snacks and sparkling juices, as per tradition, we left a bottle unopened for when he got home.
So he's been home since Saturday and we are only just opening the bottle, we just called him into the kitchen, we didn't tell him why.
He walks in very confused while I'm standing in the kitchen trying to fit the bottle opener over the top calling out a 10 second count down with Courtney. After we hit one and cheering Happy New Year! (Xin nian hao! from Jeremy) we started nonsensically singing Auld Lane Syne whilst the juice was poured and consumed.
