Dear All-Around Amazing Sojin Noona,

Today’s day 20 of knowing you and it’s a little too crazy how close we’ve become, huh? I didn’t really see it all coming. It crept up really quickly. I think the whole JHSH had a lot of influence on it, now that I think of it.

Regardless of what’s happened here and there I’m happy that you’re still around. We have a lot in common yet we’re so different in other ways. It’s kind of nice, you know?

Your humour is pretty incredible. It may be one of the things I like about you most. You have this ability to make people laugh really easily. It goes a long way in a friendship. You’ve opened my eyes to quite a few things and through you I met some pretty amazing people.

I’ll take it deep for a few seconds here. Thank you. For opening up and letting me in. If you hadn’t…man, I don’t know what would be happening right now.

You mean a lot to me, okay? Even if things end up on the wrong side of the fence please don’t forget that I meant everything I’ve said down to the most sincere emotions.

I don’t love Noona because she doesn’t remember when I bought her ice cream.

      She noticed the lifting of the younger female’s hand, but she didn’t think much of it originally, thinking it was just another attempt at performing aegyo. Firstly, because the way she had acted earlier, secondly, because she would have presumed that Jiyu was being her playful self and trying to get Sojin’s attention; however, the whimpers of pain that escaped the other’s lips immediately kicked her into fight-or-flight mode.

      Sojin glanced around momentarily, so as to spot where the source of pain was coming from – but her voice disrupted her reverie, obliging her to look Jiyu’s way once again – because there was no one else around. A quiet apology filled her eyes at the thought that she’d ignored Jiyu earlier, but she didn’t speak of it. Instead, she continued her search until finding a tack in the palm of the other’s hand. When her lips parted, soft voice raised just barely above her normal tone, Sojin locked eyes with the other. “I’m going to try and take it out now, okay? This may hurt just a little…”

Playing with a box of tacks probably wasn't the best idea in hindsight, but Jiyoo was bored and they were the only things within reach that could keep her hands busy for a while. The last thing she expected was for the box to slip right through her fingers, and the contents to empty out on to the table. Her hand slamming down onto the table top was almost a reflex reaction in order to stop the tacks from spilling. The force caused one to pierce the surface of her skin. 

"Ow! Owowowowowow. Ow. Ow. Ow..." she cried out, holding the arm in pain with her other hand. She winced, at the thought of even more pain to take it out. "Whatever you have to do unnie but please just hurry. My life is about to flash before my eyes."
