Noiz never was too crazy about reading. It wasn’t that he didn’t know how to read - he’d taught himself to do so years ago - but he simply didn’t enjoy the act of reading, perhaps out of bitterness to his robbed childhood and education. But he does have a habit of…peeking over people’s shoulders to read.
Without a book of his own, he keeps the blue screen from his Coil open, fingers lazily scrolling through the holographic screen. However, he’s not really reading whatever page he’s opened, no. His eyes keep flicking between his Coil and his company beside him, seeing them engrossed in a book.
The screen is taken down, the image fizzling until it’s out entirely and the Rhyme player shifts as quietly as possible until he’s just an inch away from pressing his chest against the other’s back or resting his chin on their shoulder. In silence, he reads as much as he can before the page is turned and from there he sets into an even pace of reading alongside them.
It never occurred to the male how the two ended up within the same room, much less sharing the same activity. At least, it didn't bther him to have some company in spite of the lack of conversation, the blond quite obvious that he isn't the social type. And while he relied on his Coil to read, Sei preferred the novelty of actually having the book on hand. Used and borrowed, but still in good condition as the pages aren't stained nor torn. Pictures brightly and well drawn with lovely color palettes.
Fairytales always a favorite of his, immersed within a particular one about the princess who had been cursed to a supposedly eternal slumber until he felt a presence hover behind him. Only then recalling he is not alone. ❝Ah...do you like this one?❞ asking softly, gaze swiveled to the side to look over to the blond who seemed curious. Even tilting a bit to the side to offer a better view of the scene he has arrived at.
❝Tragic isn't it? To be cursed after you're born...and during your brithday celebration even...❞
