Meet Adrienne Harris (the one taking the selfie). She’s lived a pretty amazing, privileged life with her twin sister Selene (with the braids), her sister Sasha who is a year younger, and her 2 devoted parents. Until now....
When her parents die in a car crash, Adrienne, Selene and Sasha are sent to live with their eldest sister Jane. Jane is much older (their parents thought they couldn’t have kids after Jane until Adrienne and Selene were born) and was never very close to her sisters. She has no time to raise three teenagers since she’s constantly working. She does her best to keep them occupied with music lessons and tutors to keep their grades up- but she’s never home. Adrienne makes friends with a local neighbor boy Dustin and they start hanging out a lot. With things being so rough at home (Sasha is jealous of Adrienne and lives to get her in trouble or harass her at every chance), Adrienne spends a lot of time at Dustin’s house. There she meets his handsome older brother who is kind to her. His parents also died in a horrible accident (in his case, a fire when his brother was young) and he has been the guardian of his brother ever since. He seems to understand her. Somehow, Adrienne feels less alone with such good friends. She even starts to think that maybe Dustin and she could become more.... until she finds him in bed with her jealous sister Sasha who seduced him at a party just to hurt Adrienne!
