It wasn’t like Jou couldn’t take on four or five guys. especially drunk as they were, but the boss had warned him; any “damage” done was responsibility of the employee.

Lucky for him, though, he spotted someone that might be useful. « Yo, hedgehog! » he called, as he managed to let a few girls come in, shoving one of the drunk dudes back lightly. « C’mere! »

Jou ended up sleeping after he and Valon separated from their dinner talk since he had been in a sour mood from listening to him afterward, and he only woke up when he saw the light shining into his eyes from the window. He didn’t know what time it was or how long he had been sleeping for, but he felt a little bit better now that he had slept and gotten over some of the irritation.

He sat up and rubbed the back of his head and yawned, and his stomach instantly started to growl indicating that he had wanted to get breakfast really fast.

“Ugh..where is that guy anyways? I’m starving..and I hope I remember where the kitchen is. Why the heck is this place so huge anyways..what’s the point when there’s only a few of us? Seems way too excessive..”

Grumbling to himself as he walked down the beach, Ryota picked out various glass bottles, cocktail umbrellas and other paraphernalia from the tideline. Holding one of the bottles to his face he peered inside, seeing a small crab attempting to scale the neck to climb out. Sighing, he walked down to the sea and released it gently into the water, thinking absentmindedly as he watched it scurry away into the sand. The opening of a new bar on the beach was attracting a lot of business, and with it, a lot of litter. Spotting a young man near the edge of the bar who looked like he had nearly finished his drink, Ryota approached him with a friendly wave.

“Hello! I was wondering if you would like me to take your bottle after you are finished. There is a lot of litter on this beach, I am trying to do my small part where I can.” He gestured at the mostly empty bottle in Valon’s hand, then to his collection. “Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated; by both myself and the ocean. Haha!”
