Joker knows that this is a bad idea, walking the streets so late at night when he his circus is already being suspected of kidnapping children. That wouldn't be wrong, of course. The ringleader knows deep in his heart that what he and his family does is wrong. But, that won't stop him from doing what ever Father asks of him. He owes him, after all.

But tonight is different. Joker was just getting a feel for this new city, he has no intention of abducting any children at this moment. When he hears a small crash in the alleyway not too far away, the ginger immediately turns his head, violet eyes squinting as he searches for the source of the ruckus.

"Aye? Who's there? Are ye alright?" The ginger-haired male calls out just loud enough for whoever it is to hear him. "Do ye need help? I can bring ye to a doctor if yer injured too badly."

The sun was just starting to set and already it was getting colder out. Grell pulled the slightly worn red coat up from her elbows and onto her shoulders, humming to herself as she walked, watching the sun slip away in burning shades of red and orange.

She paused her steps and humming for a moment to adjust how her scythe was resting over her shoulder and to her surprise saw a figure move down a turn in the street. Odd, the edge of town here was usually quiet if not empty-feeling and about this time the human world was already becoming still and sleepy.

Curious, she changed her direction towards where she had saw movement and upon spotting a thin figure down a narrow ally she called out in a sing-song voice as she approached "Hello there, little one~?" she said from a distance, not wanting the startle the other too badly as his back was turned to her.
