Would you reccomend ESO to someone who's kinda meh at MMOs and usually plays as a lone wolf? I'm wondering because I'm sort of on the fence whether I want to play it or not because I really like the world it's set in and also I've been hyperfixating on vampires lately, so the whole Greymoor thing is really catching my attention right now, but at same time multiplayer games aren't normally my thing since I'm not always great at making new friends in games and I often burn out kind of easily.

the vast MAJORITY of eso content is solo-able or even solo-only. there is so much story and questing to do in eso that i didn’t “run out” of content for like more than 6 months of playing regularly on my first character. I didn’t know jack shit about MMOs and was terrified of dealing with other people, i didn’t know or originally like how different combat is in eso compared to main series tes games. I didn’t really have friends in ESO until i started talking more with @tonal-modulator and @fennorian (ray of @the-greymarch was already my friend who i got eso for so i’d have someone to yell about eso with)
but i gave it a try and fell in love with the story, the characters, and very slowly the gameplay. i do more endgame stuff now but i still adore playing eso’s questlines and exploring.
i can’t really say much about burning out, but the thing with eso is that, unlike other tes games, you never run out of stuff to do. there are always quests to be done, dailies to complete, sets to farm for, fashion to aim for, houses to furnish for, fish to fish for, titles to grind for, and more.
eso has a HUGE learning curve and is NOT an easy game to get into, but i’ve made guides before for newbie players on how to learn to play the game. i encourage anyone with the PC/Console space and specs to try eso out.
