hey! dumb question but, your Ariane art is adorable, ive connected with how you draw her a lot as a trans woman and i wonder if you draw her with being trans in mind or if it's up to interpretation. ps: I'm Really sorry if this question is poorly worded but i just adore your art a lot and wanted to ask this.

the short(ish) answer is that for the most part i am just thinking of drawing her as a woman however form that may take(this includes trans woman) which probably falls into the 'up for interpretation' category

that being said the longer answer is sometimes! for the most part i draw her in mind with a lot of feelings on my own self which i have found that a lot of trans women connect with (which i love btw as a lesbian myself and partly a woman i think there are plenty of things we can see ourselves in in like a connection-like way and i think that is very beautiful) a lot of trans women have told me this and i feel very honored to have portrayed something that people can connect with even if sometimes it was accidental

now that is only some instances but there are other drawings (some more obvious than others including some drawings i havent really posted publicly haha) where i do intend on drawing her as a trans woman/transfem which is important to consider when drawing characters in certain ways because i love trans ariane a lot!

anyways if you are a woman and connect with how i draw women that brings me a lot of joy! i lot of how i draw people stems from well. people being generally still to this day pretty shit at drawing people who look like me and fit various other categories i have made up in my mind lol so i hope that even if i still hold myself back from going on full blast with what i want to draw/ how i want to draw women i am glad it is still something that people want to connect with
