Psyguy Returns & How He Hasn't Changed
So Bryon Beaubien, aka Psyguy, has returned to the internet, as we knew he would. And as we knew he would, he would return without having changed. A link to his opening post is here.
It honestly sickens me reading all of this. Before I begin dissecting this heap of garbage, please note that Psy is in his early 30's. His harassment of tumblr user triplewipe45 was still publicly going on less than 3 years ago, when he would have been 28-29. I will post the Psyguy Masterpost here so we can follow along.
H'OKAY. Where do I EVEN start?
"I am not here to call anybody out or throw anybody under the bus. I am here, however, to clear up some things and explain my experience over the last couple of months." -You'll throw your victims under the bus in this, however. As well, you can TELL how utterly juicy with saturated self-pity this entire thing is by attempting to whine about HIS experience.
"Several of those aformentioned claims consisted of alligations of pedophila. This just simply isn’t true. There are zero police records or court records to back up these claims. Nothing physical has ever even remotely transpired and it never will. I have also been accused of being a predator. Again, there are no legal documents to support these claims." - EVIDENTLY unless the police are involved or has a legal stamp on it, then abuse doesn't exist! Which is horrifyingly false. Psy has torn into women, degraded them, demanded sexual acts from them over webcam or text. He has masturbated audibly to them. He has sexually harassed the majority of the women he came in contact with while in his twenties. Over Skype, over AIM, over Emails, through his comics.
Abuse happens in ALL forms. Just because he hasn't been taken to court yet does not mean that he ISN'T an abuser. And if Psy ACTUALLY gave two shits, he'd actually elaborate on the things that he's done. Do you notice he at NO POINT REFERENCES THE VICTIMS. He doesn't acknowledge their existence, gives no names or examples. Psy, once again, COMPLETELY ignores the things he's been accused of.
Regardless of the fact that there are mountains of chat logs, emails, EVIDENCE against him. His name. His words. His actions. He ignores every single bit of it. It doesn't EXIST in his mind. Only the (vaguely put) "things that he's said in his early twenties" are the misdemeanors he's apologizing for.
"I never thought, in a million years, anyone would ever care about what I said so I said whatever I thought was funny. And, it didn’t matter who it was to. If I thought it was funny I was going to say it. The recent reactions made me see what I was doing was wrong and were labeled as abusive. I never saw it that way and all I can do is apologize and try to make amends/be a better person from this." - A huge lie. Psy has always used words as his greatest weapon. As he is doing now, he's romancing what viewers and fans he still has who are blindly loyal to him. He KNOWS the power of words. This entire pile of schlock is his first blow, attempting to reinsert himself back onto the internet. And if he wanted to be a better person, then he would acknowledge his victims, he would attempt to suck it up and face what he's done and the person people have proven him to be.
Psy is painting a huge portrait of how terrible and awful it was for him growing up. But as we know from the stories that have come out from before, Psy has never wanted for money thanks to his parents. Blizzooka is witness to this, as she lived with him for a time. No matter what has happened in his childhood, there IS NO excuse for his actions, EVER. But he said it best. "That was my objective. Get popular. People will respect me if I’m popular. It didn’t matter what it was just as long as I was popular. "
He KNOWS he's still popular with the uneducated or blind followers who back him up. He's been lurking since June, watching to see how many people would defend him without question, despite each and every one of them having no argument, no ground to stand on when faced with facts.
But then Psy begins to reel them in. His giant, as he puts it, melodramatic spiel of how being chased from the internet hurt him. "I shut down. Completely. I already didn’t like myself. When I saw how many notes things were getting and videos were being made - I was severely depressed. When I saw people I respected leaving, people who I thought were my friends speak out against me - I hated myself. When I got a text from one of my friends saying he didn’t want to see me anymore at a convention - I wanted to kill myself. I wished for death."
Bullshit.
These are the words of the women Psy abused. These are the words of the people that Psy ostracized, that he sent his followers after. These are the words of the people who suffered from Psy's constant actions against others to fuel his own ego. This is how Psy made them feel every single day, each time it happened. Why was Psy REALLY upset: It's because he'd been found out.
Your silence WAS cowardice, Psy. You AND Dave, who has remained silent this entire time. Your silence CONTINUES to be cowardice. You have not owned up to anything yet. It's one thing to apologize for being a dick whenever you opened your mouth, but when are you going to apologize to Shannon? To Liz? To Ame? To Filthy? To ALL of the women who have come forward? Do you delight in holding off on that? Does it AMUSE you that they are enraged that you STILL won't admit that you've done anything wrong SIMPLY because no "legal documentation" exists?
"I have been involved in the Sonic fandom since I was 14. Sega has never given a damn that I existed. Ever." - I'm just throwing this quote in here because why on EARTH would this mean anything at all? This is just Psy hitting the bottom of the barrel of things he could whine about. There's a reason that Sega has never given a shit. Is it because you make recolors and have overly sexualized comics consisting of rape jokes involving Amy Rose? Naw, COULDN'T be that! I guess Sega is one of those people who just 'can't get your humor'.
"Several months have past and I kept having these urges of coming back - but they would be squashed because what was the point? To build up my ego? That’s a stupid reason to come back." - But you did it anyway. Congrats on being stupid and a slave to your ego.
"No, if I were to come back it would be to help out others and not just myself. If I were to do something with my online celebrity it would be to help out others than just myself. I’m going to try and use this negativity and hopefully turn it into something positive." - Bullshit. LAUGHABLE Bullshit. Psy, if you have ANY intention about being POSITIVE with this expected reveal, then MAKE something of yourself. APOLOGIZE to your victims. Write PUBLIC APOLOGIES to the women you've abused. OWN UP. Be something OTHER than another example of a brutally abusive egotistical spoiled misogynist. Try to be a shining light to OTHER douchebags and TRY to change. It's evident that you HAVEN'T thus far!

I never wanted this and, from the bottom of my heart, I am deeply sorry." - So up until June, 2014, you were a confused person? Possibly confused as to what wrong and right are? As to what ABUSE actually is?
Look, this is not an apology. This is a MASSIVE pity party that he's throwing to celebrate his return. "OH, I'm so depressed! OH, I'm a force for change now! OH, it's been SO hard these last few months!" Again, Bullshit.
Psy has been proven to be a pedophile. Has been proven to be a manipulator. Psy has proven to be an abuser. Psy has proven, ABOVE ALL ELSE, that he is nothing but toxic. Because he ignores these facts about himself, it proves that he has not changed. He will tell himself and his blind followers whatever lie he can in order to avoid owning up. He will spin every tale as twisted and misguided as he can make it to avoid hitting the evidence piled in front of him.
Psy has not changed. WILL not change. And the internet never forgets. So let us watch as he panders to all good natured comments he receives, but ignores all the negative ones, thus continuing to feed his ego (he couldn't live long without it). Let us see if he answers emails from his abusers calling him out and if he responds in any sort of apologetic fashion. Let us see him ride this out while completely dismissing all of his victims.
Psyguy is an abuser. He is a manipulator. He has engaged in sexual harassment on multiple levels. He has acted sexually towards minors through text and Skype calls, meaning that he is, by definition, a pedophile. The evidence is there, and until he faces his victims and acknowledges the evidence, then he will never change.
