Sahara tilt’s her head at my reaction. “Are you ok Baba?” My mind is still balk but try to recover quickly “Yea, that was.. Just a poem I thought of. I just remembered it all of a sudden.” She looks at me and the blush is quickly gone with an icy look on her face that I’ve only seen once before while being pinned by the two gunmen. She gets up “Then I guess I will go see what else is around the hotel since you seem to need time for yourself. And don’t even bother reading the note I left last night.”She says in her icy voice as goes out of the room leaving me frozen in my seat. Ok no maybe, I didn’t like being on that side of the voice.

It takes me a couple minutes to start moving and thinking in hindsight maybe truth would have been the other option. I quickly leave my suite and go look for a sign of her but not seeing her. I groan and run a hand through my hair after forgetting my hat in my room. I go to the penthouse and see Ota, Eisuke, and Soryu there, the other three probably busy. “Any of you seen sahara?” The look over and shake their heads. “Let me guess you did something stupid and she ran off” Eisuke just says hitting the nail on the head just leaving me to nod. Ota laughs “Koro ran away from you already? Not a very good master are you?”

Soryu is the only one taking it seriously it seems as he comes over. “Did she say where she was going?” I nod “Said she was looking around the hotel” He nods “then she wouldn’t leave the hotel, she knows outside would be to dangerous right now” I sigh and just nod plopping down onto a sofa as Ota just laughs enjoying my state. Eisuke finally looks up from his laptop “She’s in the casino” He scowls “And winning heavily” He slams it shut and heads out as I just sit there out of it. Soryu sighs and leaves after Eisuke probably to mediate between the to but I just go back to my room after remember the note.

It was right where I left it on the coffee table of the living room. I pick it up and sit in the chair as I finally open it after skipping over it last night. To Lupin, or should I call you Mitsunari? I know you probably don’t have much of an appetite after dealing with everything today but you really shouldn’t skip dinner. I hope you enjoy it, it’s one of the recipes my mom taught me before I was pulled into the mafia, it always brings me happiness. Maybe one day I will share it with you, but it is a family secret so we’ll see how we get along. I have a feeling that we might be feeling the same thing. -Sahara.

I was an idiot, it was the closest I ever felt like ever hitting my head against the wall. She laid things out in no uncertain terms, and yet I threw it back into her face this morning. No wonder I got the cold treatment. I sigh and just lean back against the chair letter on my chest as I throw an arm over my eyes. I’m an idiot, though I should have known my flirtatious ways would some day come back to bite me. Never thought it would be like this with an ex mafia member of all things.

I get up and fix my hair and put my hat back on and head to the casino floor after hearing Eisuke saying that she was there. I look around seeing no sign of either of them as I keep walking and scanning the floor. Though now that I look at it, the floor seems to be in a disarray. No one was paling, people where panicking as I see soryu on the phone and Mamoru with the police interviewing people. I gulp and hurry to soryu and he hangs up and look over. My heart nearly stops at what he says.

“Sahara and Eisuke has been abducted, no one knows where they are.”
