Thank you to @maraudorable for the tag!
the decade is ending, what’s changed for you in these past ten years?
A couple of times. I moved cities for a few years, and residences a number of times during and after that. tbh I don’t think my belongings have quite recovered yet, I could probably fit all of my things into my car right now.
I have, despite struggling hardcore my last years. I’m proud the degree, but I’m definitely burned out on academics right now. If I do it again next decade, it’ll be because I’ve settled into a career and have a plan to deal with the stress/depression.
Has your marital status changed?
Nope, and I doubt it ever will.
Has your parental status changed?
Has your hair color changed?
Nope. It’s barely even changed styles, though I’m contemplating changing that sooner or later.
Yep! Most of them were temporary and not really career material. I’ve lasted 3+ years at the current one, and I’m planning on staying a few years more, though eventually I want to move on to something with a bit more challenge and opportunity-- I look at things with microscopes all day but it’s not nearly as interesting as it sounds.
Oh, sure. At least five times, as I’ve jumped through interests. I’m still fond of the old ones, I’m just not involved in those canons as much. Right now Remus/Sirius is holding my attention captive.
Has your pet status changed?
Unfortunately, I lost both childhood cats. Right now I’m borrowing my housemates’ cats, though, so I think I’ve won at life?
What new places did you visit?
Plenty of places in the US, more than I think I can tally. I think my favorite was going to Duluth MN in the middle of winter. I also got to visit Beijng, Glasgow, and Oxford on brief trips. Maybe someday I’ll try to go back but travel is Stressful.
What is an accomplishment you are proud of?
When I ask myself whether I’m happy right now, the answer is “yes.”
I think a lot of people have already been tagged for this, but if you haven’t, please steal it! And @ me, I do love seeing everyone’s answers.
