IC3PEAK - So Safe (+ Remixes)
Musical act IC3PEAK is one of extremes, and it’s probably why Moscow’s Nikolai Kostlyev and Nastya Kreslina frequently refer to themselves as an audiovisual terror. Their latest release “So Safe” which coincides with the release of a number of remixes, moves to the other end of the band’s spectrum and travels under a certain fragility. On “So Safe”, the image is one of vulnerability but ultimately acceptance as portrayed through the nakedness of the track’s video. Soft and naked hues of flesh and flesh-tone surround the howling purr of Kreslina’s vocal fragility echoing against the bare backdrop of its synthesizer plunk.
You can check out the video and the remixes of “So Safe” below:
IC3PEAK also recently released the video of “Kawaii Warrior”, with the stab and jab of their electronics reflected in the video’s dystopian, post-Soviet rave:

ptpf - Unfriendly Forest
I discovered this gem, a few days, ago, while listening to some music, at work. ptpf has played at the last VV17CHØU7-party, in Moscow.
I don't know, too much about this guy, but he's definitely doing some great stuff. 'Unfriendly Forest' combines heavy industrial elements with some religious choir. There's a few more good tracks, on his official Soundcloud that are totally worth listening to!
His only official release 'Human Nature' can be downloaded from Teapression Waves' Bandcamp (here) for $1.99.
There's no official homepage, except for his VK page.
