I thought that I mentioned this before as well, but I hadn’t.
I want to tell all of you about Dreamily. It’s helpful for writers and rpers.
Writer’s block is a drag. We all know it.
Dreamily helps with filling in those gaps. You put in some sentences, no more than 1k characters if you’re feeling pedantic about it. It will generate a paragraph. It’s free to use, too!
You can tell Dreamily to avoid certain words, provide a story background and genre to help the ai focus on what you’d prefer.
Let’s say I want to make something on the spicy side. A rare indulgence: a self-insert sort of thing. Nothing that wouldn’t cross a pg-13 rating.
This is what I’ve got so far. I’ve got “Pure Love” selected, but it won’t restrict me from the other genres I can use. Once I click the little bomberman-type icon at the bottom right, it’ll take a few seconds to make something. You can’t edit what you put in as it’s generating a paragraph.
You can edit it after it’s done, as well as anything it generates. In fact, you can have it undo the work or keep on going. It’ll save what you put in, like a title or what you wrote so you can come back to it.
And if you don’t like what the ai spat out, you can always try for another three prompts to go with on the right side.
I suppose some people might find this cheating, but it’s helped me out of a bind in more ways than I can count. I still need to be the one to make sure everything meshes well, so I’d say Dreamily is like an electric sewing machine. Just because it’s automated to some extent doesn’t mean that the finished product won’t need your own special touch.
Nonetheless, I hope y’all might get something out of it.
