Here's the thing...
I'm sitting in the drive-thru of a local Mexican food restaurant patiently moving forward at what feels like an incredibly slow pace, as I was late getting to work. A young girl pulls in behind me just as I am getting ready to place my order. As I opened my mouth, she cranks up the music in her car to a decibel level that made everything within a 100 yard radius of her stereo thump and rattle. Needless to say I am just a bit perturbed because her lack of consideration has made it close to impossible for me to even place my order. No less she most definitely knew the sound level was an issue considering she lowered it to place her order. Alright, so my order is placed finally, her order is in and we are now all lined up like kids in a school cafeteria. My back of the line-tormentor decides to crank up the volume to new heights of obnoxiousness. Look, I don't care what anyone listens to, in fact I am a big advocate of free expression. However, if what you want to do makes it impossible for anyone else in the near vicinity to do what they want to do then you are simply imposing on everyone else. Learn some manners, and grow the hell up. I love to listen to my radio at insane decibel levels while driving the freeway to my job, however, I am fairly certain my freeway entertainment style is innocuous to those others around me rocketing to their jobs and homes at speeds of over 70 miles an hour. Not mention I can't remember the last time I actually had to communicate verbally out of my car window to another person while driving down the freeway.
