oh and also? i have to go to any gym, ever, with my bf. bc men stare at me even when he IS there. i dont wanna wait to be hit on or assaulted if hes Not there. i js wanna work out and be done as quickly as possible. gyms are suffocating with everybody staring at you

i went to my campus gym once, and i was warned by the woman at the front there are creeps that go to that gym. so i cant even go there alone--in my own school.

i have such a hard time bringing myself to go to the gym because i get stared at like a nun in hell. like a deer in the road. im girly, i like to wear skirts, im blond, people either chuckle at me trying to work out or think im like a stuck up cheerleader or smth. men at the gym stare at me, thats a given, but also the girls. which makes me so so so insecure. why r u staring,, im here for the same reasons u are. im literally just trying to work out. can you stop acting like the gym is a club and new or different people r intruding in on it? i rlly rlly dislike public gyms,, but alas. i need to use them.

Not to be the guy that demonizes public gyms

but please be aware of the contracts you sign when getting a gym membership.  My mom has been on the phone for the last hour because her gym is insisting on taking two more payments from her for the membership after she cancelled the it because she injured her shoulder. (Not to mention the $100 fee they charged her to close the membership).

Young Adult Membership - Beginning July 1, memberships to all recreation centers, including those with pools, will be available to anyone aged 18 through 24 for just $25 a year.

it would normally be $150...
