I understand that the application for an intern and for a worker are similar, but it does kind of freak me out that I have to answer questions I have no answer to. Like am I willing to travel? As a broke college intern no I am not willing to travel while working there, but as an employee sure I’ll go wherever you need work done. What was your last salary? As a broke college student looking for an internship I’ve never made a salary. What salary would you like to make? As an Intern who will be there for eight to ten weeks I’m not expecting a salary, but I also can’t leave the answer blank so let me google what I could make if I were an adult adult trying to get a job.
Look at all of the amazing books I got today from my internship. I intend on hauling all of these beauties from Harlem to South Jersey with me. 😳📖📚😍
Random House and MacMillan have confirmed that they have gotten my resumes and I AM PANICKING oh my god I did that and oh my god I want these internships so badly.
first day of the internship involved looking up authors' social media pages and noting how many followers they have
pretty much my life anyway
Do you want to intern for Pioneers Press?
Are you interested in volunteering or interning at Pioneers Press? We have opportunities from passing out catalogs and proofreading manuscripts to assisting at the local Kansas office. For more information, see our volunteer application. Thank you!
The editorial company I'm a part of is looking for an intern, preferably high school or really young college student. If we like you, there's a chance you'll get promoted to assistant and start getting paid. You can read the requirements here: https://twitter.com/TeenEyesEdits
Who knew being a publishing Intern would be so exhausting? 8:15 and I'm already considering sleeping.
I don't think I've ever looked forward to going to work but here I am, super excited about tomorrow. Somebody please offer me a full time publishing job?!
