We’re back! At least, I’m going to try! November and December are both the busiest months for me and work, so unfortunately I couldn’t/can’t do a lot of work on pages in this time. But hopefully once the holidays and big work projects have cooled down, I can get back on my previous twice a month schedule! So as of right now, this is my publishing goal, and I hope I won’t have to change it! I’m really excited for where the story is going right now, and I cant wait to get to my favorite parts coming up!

APRIL PUBLISHING

Spring Prompts Challenge

From 3-9th April, I’ll be publishing stories for @kc-and-co’s Spring Challenge! I decided to give my HPMA kids some well-deserved attention this time, so for the seven prompts, we have one short story for Saffron and two 3-part miniserieses for Rory and Zadie. We will get to see Saffron facing her fears, Zadie learning to forge her own path, and some important moments between Rory and Rylie prior to the start of their relationship @thatravenpuffwitch.

Because Artemis gets jealous when I play with my other characters, I also have an extra 8th story! This one takes place when Artemis is nearing 40(!) years old, and features the next generation of the Weasley family, along with UILF Charlie.

The Phoenix Resistance

I’m contributing 2 chapters towards the @phoenixresistance project this month, which will be published on the 11th and 15th. They’re dark and pretty violent. I’m excited.

Easter Story

On the other end of the angst-fluff spectrum, I have an Easter short coming out on the 17th. It’s sweet and silly and features Saffron, who got a little neglected during the prompts challenge.

The Bonds We Break

Y6 of the Hexley Saga is in the editing phase and should be ready to publish in June. To see through the interim, I have a 5-part story set during Artemis’ time at Gringotts, which will be published every Wednesday from the 25th of April onwards.

That’s right everyone, I’m back in the game and we have some lovely new titles to look forward to coming out in the coming months! 

Assorted Short Stories – Collection 2: Scheduled Publication, June 2018

Summary:  Is a Knight destined to fall in love with a Princess? Can you trust a witch to live up to her word? How many morals can you keep as conman? 

These are just three questions that are asked in five tales which make up this collection of short stories. These stories follow LGBT characters as they fall in love, form and develop relationships and figure out their path in love and life. These stories take you through realms of fantasy as well as our modern world. 

This is the second collection in a series of short stories where anything is possible, where inner strength is paramount and where happiness is always just around the corner.

Your Three Wishes: Scheduled Publication, August 2018

Summary: When Danny bought a lantern as an impulse purchase, the last thing he expected was for there to be a handsome genie inside it. Danny also wouldn’t have imagined that the gorgeous Hadir would want to have sex with him, but since Danny is sure he’s dreaming, he’s quick to say yes to the proposition.

But when it turns out his magical man isn’t just a fantasy but a living, breathing granter of wishes, Danny has to start thinking about what he’s going to wish for even as he continues to enjoy Hadir’s long kisses and soft smiles in the meantime.

Summary: A scruffy outlaw named Jay has been flirting with the cutie behind the bar at the diner on his favourite moon, but he hasn’t been getting very far. 

When the bar gets blown up he’s ninety percent sure it’s got nothing to do with him. But after fleeing the moon together in Jay’s spaceship, Jay is quick to get dragged into a life and past he’d rather forget. 

Jay’s also starts to realise that there’s more to this ‘simple’ waiter than meets the eye.

I’m back!

This post is just a quick announcement to let you know I’ll start posting metas again very soon. :) I missed writing and exchanging here and I’m thrilled at the prospect of enjoying it again! 💙

I’m on holiday after a busy (and fascinating!) year at university. I have lovely projects in mind for next year and I am so proud of my progress so far! I feel warm with positivity. :) (btw, a special thank you to @just-sort-of-happened for your support and kind words, you cannot believe how much it helped!! 💜 I’ll message you soon, I promise!)

Now that I have time for me, I can publish here again! I am so happy! I have many analyses in my drafts mind, and it is high time to share them! I’ll probably post a first one next week, and publish regularly afterwards. Among other subjects, my next posts will tackle:

My latest published novel is coming out later this week and I’m really excited about this collection of romantic and slice of life tales!

Scene Snippet, Story 4, ‘A Price Worth Paying’:

The woods outside Raelynn’s village where thick and dark; the trees twisted and gnarled while the bushes grew with thistles and thorns, stretching out their branches as if to grasp and draw unsuspecting villagers into their hold. The forest was deep and dangerous, filled with creatures that haunted the sleep of a village that was nestled too close to it. The owls would shriek in the night, starling people awake in their beds. The wolves would howl and frighten the playing children back into their homes. The squirrels would leap from tree to tree, making people glance up nervously. The rabbits would rustle the undergrowth and race out from the trees; making people jump in fright, a cry catching in their throat as they feared a greater enemy appearing. The woods, everyone in the village knew, were haunted. They also knew that only a mile down the overgrown track, nestled between towering, imposing and leafless trees lived a witch. The woman with her matted hair, her dark eyes and strange designs on her skin; she could tell you your fortune, solve all your problems and grant your deepest wish... but, there was a price for such a transaction and something only the desperate were willing to pay. Raelynn was one such desperate soul.
