challenge: outline a hockey rpf fic based only on what you know from osmosis
Oh man anon you are fun, bc right now at like 11pm the only people's names I remember are Sid/Geno and like one or two others and can't remember what team anyone belongs to but the thing I would actually most like to do is some kind of weird magic AU where joining a hockey team gives you weird inhuman characteristics depending on the team, which is mostly an excuse to give Krakens players tentacles, but also you can do fun things like, hmm, Penguins get fun cold water survival traits and Flyers have wings!
Ooo I think you can do a really fun thing with a player who gets traded & then has to get accustomed to losing the one trait he was used to & gaining this new thing he doesn't know what to do with. There's an element of "this wasn't my choice or in my control but now I have to live with it" and maybe getting mentorship from another player about how to deal with it...
Yes ok I dig this concept, someone who actually knows anything about hockey should write it.
