My AU: Just Friends

⟡ The Deep Dive ⟡

If you’re coming from my intro post, or a fic, this is a deep dive on my AU.

I hope this post is constantly getting edited and growing, but for now this is what I’m working with — mostly ’cause I don’t want this to feel like work, so I’m just writing what I’ve already planned out in my head.

So for the most part, main characters are obviously Will, Mack, and my oc named Sarah.

We all “know” and love the boys so no need to describe them for now. Maybe one day i’ll feel like doing an in-depth character breakdown of them but i feel like i need to get to know them more as this plays out in my head if that makes sense…

Set Up 😌

Sarah and Will have known each other since forever, being close family friends. When younger Sarah had a big crush on Will and bullied him into promising to be best friends forever. At first it was mostly just an agreement but as they grew older an actual bond formed and their friendship became tighter even as the distance became bigger from Will being at boarding schools.

Starting Point 🙃

Will is in his second year with the San Jose Sharks and has a very close relationship with Mack, with different layers THAT WILL BE UNPACKED.

Sarah is living in Madrid as a florist with a very flexible job which she doesn’t depend economically on thanks to her parents’ more than stable financial situation.

Sarah and Will don’t see each other a lot for obvious reasons, and they have periods in which they keep up more than others but the close connection is and will always be there… more and more as the daydream unfolds.

Possible unfolding of the story (WARNINGS MAYBE?) 🤔

This could totally unfold into a WillMack story or polyamorous relationship with WillMack but not necessarily. It might get messy, with some angst and jealousy most probably… etc. I guess we’ll have to see… but know these are possible outcomes so if you’re not into that, bye bye sweetheart

i cope by daydreaming about my hyperfixations right now it’s WillMack

since i unfortunately don’t have anyone IRL who can listen to me rant about this for hours,

i’m hoping to find even a small, petite community here who’s down to hear me go off about it.

i created my own little AU where this whole story just keeps playing out in my head, so obviously this is gonna be RPF as fuck — if you’re not into that, this blog probably isn’t for you.

i’m hoping to use this account to share little droplets of said AU through all kinds of multimedia.

my plan is to at least post some kind of “polished” update once a week-ish…

and in between there’ll be a gagillion other things: random rants, sudden feels, whatever spills out.
