In your dragons survive the dance Au, what dragons do the Targaryens ride? Do any of their eggs hatch like the Blackfyres?

I'm sure there must be a lot more tension between the two families in a world where both have nuclear weapons😅

Oooo this is such a good question tbh! I've rrly thought deeply about this tbh, what kind of dragons they'd all ride. Okay I'll start from Aegon III's reign and end at the Blackfyre kiddos.

King Aegon III - Rides Stormcloud ofc (in this AU Stormcloud ain't dead, and I image Aegon has tolerance only for him).

King Viserys II - Claims and rides Vermithor (I feel like his egg never hatches tbh)

King Daeron I - Rides Vhagar OFC (this dude is trying to emulate the conqueror's so bad! Aegon's sword & crown, and Visenya's dragon) might be Vhagar's last rider tho cuz idk how much longer she's got left to live lmaooo

King Baelor the Blessed - Tbh not sure about this guy? I could see him claiming Silverwing since she's docile and not very violent perhaps.

Princess Daena the Defiant - Claims Meleys, it just feels right for her

Septa Rhaena - No dragon for her since she joined the faith and became a septa

Princess Elaena - Her egg never hatches, she claims Arrax instead (they twinning with the white and gold lmaooo)

King Aegon IV the Unworthy - Claims either Syrax or Sunfyre, can't decide 100%

Aemon the Dragonknight - Hmmm perhaps Caraxes? Or maybe Seasmoke (leaning more towards Caraxes though)

Queen Naerys - Claims Dreamfyre for sure, a dreamy girl for a delicate queen

King Daeron II the Good - Claims Syrax. I particularly like the idea of him being dragonless for most of his life until his dad dies and Syrax lets him claim her.

Daemon Blackfyre - Claims the Cannibal "Syndrax". Wasn't allowed a dragon egg (cuz he was a bastard) and wasn't rrly allowed a dragon in general, but got mocked by Visenya and went off to claim a less watched wild dragon to prove himself. An outcast black dragon for the black dragon lol.

Prince Baelor Breakspear - Claims Meleys. Obsessed with the drama of him claiming Daemon's mother's dragon, rrly adds fuel to the rivalry there. Also he reminds Meleys of Rhaenys a bit.

Bittersteel - Don't know if the other bastards would be allowed dragons; Claims Seasmoke if allowed.

Princess Daenerys of Dorne - Cradle hatched egg like her twin sister, and it's a she-dragon I've named Sweetsong. Pale, milky white with lilac patterning and golden horns; hatches from a sister egg to Nightfyre's).

King Aerys I - Hmmmm... not sure about this guy. Probably hatches his cradle egg, cuz I can't see him putting in the effort to actually try and claim a dragon.

Prince Rhaegel - Either claims Silverwing (cuz she's gentle) or a cradle hatched egg for him

King Maekar - Claims Vermithor, their both stern and grumpy guys Bloodraven - Don't know if the other bastards would be allowed dragons; Claims Caraxes if he is allowed.

Shiera Seastar - Don't know if the other bastards would be allowed dragons; Claims Moondancer is she is allowed.

Prince Valarr - Claims Vermax, cuz man he's so Jace vibes to me

Prince Matarys - Claims Arrax or hatches his egg

Prince Aelor - Claims Shyrkos

Princess Aelora - Claims Morghul

Princess Daenora - Hatches her cradle egg

Prince Daeron the Drunken - Claims Tessarion (her second Daeron)

Prince Aerion Brightflame - Claims Sunfyre; I know everyone gives him Caraxes, but book Aerion loved extravagance and glamour so Sunfyre's beauty is right up his alley (also I don't think his dad would let him anywhere near a super deadly war dragon considering Aerion's nature lmao)

Maester Aemon - No dragon cuz he joins the Citadel and later the Night's Watch

Princess Daella - Hatches her cradle egg or claims Tyraxes

King Aegon V - I super feel like he hatches his cradle egg, but if not, he claims Stormcloud

Princess Rhae - Hatches her egg or claims Morning, a barbie pink dragon for Maekar's little diva

This is an interesting question! But also a rrly difficult one to answer lmaooo. I tend to be super critical of myself so my feeling towards my art are constantly changing like the tides. But if I had to list a few pieces that I still consistently like:

These portraits of Visenya and her son Aemon. I just rrly like how they turned out.

This Daemyra piece I did for fun. I'm actually so pleased with the bg and lighting on this one tbh.

Valor's first ref card. I'm kinda just obsessed with his face lowkey.

What does Haera look like? Do you have any sketches or ideas on her? I’d love to hear more about Saerea’s ancestor!

Tbh anon, while I do have some lore on Haera, I'd never actually drawn her since she was such a far off, background character to Saerea's lore lmao. But this ask was the perfect excuse to draw her so thanks anon!

I see her having the Caelerys wine-purple eyes and the honey gold hair (very similar to Saerea in looks). As for info and lore, she was a young woman when she left Valyria (21 or 22 I imagine) due to the doom, freshly widowed with a 3yr old son and an infant daughter. Her house had always ranked average in power amongst the dragonlord families, but by the time she had become lady of house Calaerys, their power had begun to wane significantly. She was amongst the younger of the dragonlord rulers, and was steadily losing power, so she had little influence in governance over the freehold and wasn't respected much. Her consort, her beloved brother Daegor, had been her greatest pillar of support, until he died in an unfortunate accident that she secretly suspects wasn't an accident, and this took a massive toll on her mentally and emotionally. When Aenar Targaryen informed the other dragonlords of the oncoming doom, she was the only one to take his warning seriously. In the end, her family was losing power, other dragonlords had possibly killed her husband to further weaken them, and she was fretting over the safety of her children and remaining family members, and the news of the doom was the final nail in the coffin. She decided she had to get her family out of Valyria and fled, taking every little thing they had with them as a sign they'd never return. Only three of her vassals followed her family to Westeros; House Agnaris, House Polemys, & House Nhalamyr. Oh! And the dragon that decorates their family coat of arms is supposed to be her dragon, Tyraenax the Goliath, a white, burly dragon who's final rider was Saerea's father, Lord Aekar.

LMAOOOOOO I saw this on Twitter and maaaaan, if sacrificing Aerion was all it took to bring back the dragons, I'd be slapping that prick onto the first pyre I found and offering him up to the gods. Aerion for dragons? A worthwhile trade in which I'm truly losing nothing.

Naerys is very pretty! She looks just like her mama Dany, with pale gold waves/curls and pinkish-lilac eyes. And she inherited a rrly pretty, tanned Dornish complexion from her father.

It doesn’t help the Fengxian was canonically a cruel mother to maomao. Fengxian chopped off one of maomao’s fingers, and was always insulting her, and this mistreatment only stopped because Fengxian’s illness progressed to the point where she lost her mind and was bed bound, so she wasn’t entirely crazy when she was doing this. At the same time, however, Fengxian was only in that state because her plan to be with Lakan failed and her life had went straight to Jigoku (hell). If things had ended up better, like in this scenario where Maomao is raised by Fengxian and Lakan as the princess of the La clan, Fengxian might be more calm. And even if she still behaved the same way in this scenario, I have feeling that Lakan might kick her to the curb the second he catches her in the act.

I definitely think if things had gone the way Fengxian planned, she would've been a loving, but calm, level-headed mother. I honestly think she'd be the one to teach Maomao how to be cunning, smart, and how to navigate courtly politics. Fengxian is clearly a very intelligent woman, and she'd want to pass on her knowledge and experience to Maomao. While Lakan would've spoiled her, Fengxian would've educated and nurtured her daughter's intellect and skills I think.

What does Viseryn’s fiancée, Valaena look like?

She's Viseryn's cousin via her mother, who is one of Aegon IV's legitimized bastards (aka she's Visenya’s half sister). Her mother is actually the OC of my friend @applinjam. Her grandmother, Aegon IV's mistress, is a lady of house Manderly, making Valaena a mix of Targaryen, Velaryon, and Manderly.
