It had been an exhausting day overall for Mina; it was unsurprising, and expected considering that AOA was in the middle of a promotional cycle, but she had always been the greedy type, wanting to make room for things in her life,e even though she was obviously lacking in time,
The day had started out like the usual -- early, and had her heading straight to the salon, right before recording for a show with half the members. The afternoon had seen back to back photoshoots, but that evening actually saw a bit of free time for her, time that she’d decided to spend with her long time boyfriend.
Ideally, they’d be spending more together, but they were both used to this by now. Daehyun might not be active at the moment, but he knew how it was to be an idol and even when they started dating, they already knew they had to persevere and take what good they can when it came to their relationship.
He’s dropping her off now, a block and a half away from AOA’s dorm; he’d wanted to take her closer, right by the building, but both of them knew this wasn’t such a good idea. The press didn’t really have B.A.P on their radar at the moment, and Mina wasn’t one of the more popular AOA members, but it was still better to be safe than sorry.
She sighs as she gets off the car, reluctant as she waves goodbye. She stands there by the sidewalk, half-heartedly waving as the car backs away into the street, a little frustrated because she’s still wishes they didn’t have to say goodbye just yet. Once the car is out of sight, she turns on her heels, trying to adjust her jacket and the cap perched on top of her head, when she suddenly almost bumps into someone.
“Oh, sorry--” Mina is quick to apologise, bowing politely at the person, only to stop short in her tracks when she looks up and realises that the female looked quite familiar. “So- sorry,” she stammers, big brown eyes blinking as she feels her heart rate go up. It was someone she’s seen before--Mina is quick to remember when fans are female after all. Fans are usually a good thing, and normally she’d be smiling brightly--but at the moment, all she can think about is whether or not the girl had seen her and what she was doing not even five minutes earlier.

With the brand new release of Heart Attack, the long string of fansign events that followed was inevitable. It’s no secret that the endless purchasing of albums to have a chance to greet their favorite artist close and personally boosts AOA’s album sales exponentially, and that’s exactly what they need to win. Regardless, every fansign was an opportunity to meet new fans and catch up with the old ones whose faces have been popping up pretty consistantly since their debut in 2012.
It wasn’t long after their seven girls were situated in their respective seats before the fans started piling in. One by one, Seolhyun and her group mates greeted each fan with a smile and a sharpie, eagerly signing each album. Occasionally fans would bring gifts, most being confiscated by their managers for the greater good and to be the ultimate killjoys. That must be a clause in their contracts--ruin Seolhyun’s dreams of endless stuffed toys.
Most fans had the same general look: boys of all ages, ranging from high school to middle aged. As creepy as uncle fans are, they’re AOA’s main income. And anyways, they all deserve a smile as any other fan. One fan stood out in the crowd, however, as she made her way across the table. Wearing a face mask she was unrecognizable, but she was definitely a she--and that’s different in and of itself. Leaning over to try and get a closer look at the fan, Seolhyun was briefly distracted by the one staring straight at her. A clearing of his throat immediately brought her attention back to him. ❝ Oh! I’m sorry, ❞ Seolhyun apologized with an awkward smile before greeting him. He was quickly appeased and moved down the line, leaving the unfamiliar girl to approach her.
❝ Hi! You’re a new face. How are you? ❞ she greeted with a broad smile and a nod of her head.
